How does he do it?:

JP has been customizing 1:64 scale Hot Wheels as a hobby in his spare time for about 5 years. It started out as a way to pass the time and then grew. His artistic talent and expertise improves with each piece. In the several Conventions JP has attended, he's scored at least 1 first place and usually several. During the 19th Annual Collectors Convention in Irvine, California, he won 2 first places. JP's cuts are all done by hand by using a jewelers saw. He has had no formal training in cutting or painting - everything he does is self-taught. Currently JP lives in Southeast Texas with his wife Kim. Between the 2 of them they have 3 kids and enjoy traveling, fishing, family and each other. My sincere thanks go to Connie Basham for coming by and taking pictures of some of my cars. No, they're not laser cuts. They're all done by hand with a Jeweler's Saw. Some of the blades are as thick as a blade of hair. Look at some of his pics to see the saw.
